There are three areas in Juneau where cruise ships dock, and they are all close enough to walk to downtown. The bigger cruise ships usually dock near South Franklin Street, while smaller ones dock next to the floatplanes.
The third dock is located at the south end of town. Plenty of taxis aref available from each dock, and most shore excursions and tours provide transportation to and from the port.
